James' First Halloween

Our little dinosaur... turned out to be our little tiger. Our friend Rhonda bought James this tiger costume last year, and it was too cute not to use. We took James to the Mexican restaurant in his costume, and he was a "hit." Hope ya'll all had a great day. We sure did.

Stella Goes to New Kids on the Block...

Wednesday night.... I took Stella to New Kids on the Block concert at the Gwinnett Arena. She went along with Whitney, Shawna, Katie and Laura... we had a great time.

What's worse than 15,000 screaming teenagers (circa 1991)? Well, 15,000 screaming thirty-somethings. It was awesome.

Happy Birthday, Baby Boy

Yesterday was baby boy's first birthday. We had a "small" party that ended up pretty big. James was such a big boy, and loved his birthday cake. He had lots of smiles for everyone, and was still scared of the balloons.

I cannot believe that our little baby is one. Time flies so fast.

And in no time, little Stella will be here...and we'll be celebrating her first birthday. I just try and soak it all up.

Married 7 Years

Today, Jason and I have been married 7 years... Time has flown, and I am still amazed how much we have grown. And I can honestly say, that each and every day, I love this man more and more, and I consider myself more blessed than words can properly express.

This has probably been the first year out of 7 that we did not have some huge anniversary production.

And yet, this year... has been the most fulfilling.


Here's to 7 more years together... and 50 more after that.

I love you, Jason. I am so proud of you. Thank you for loving me.
And thank you for our babies... your son who has your joyful spirit and silly smile, and your daughter, who no doubt has your strong legs and nighttime thrashing habit.

You are the best part of me. I am glad you're mine.

Baby Stella's First "Photos"

Today we went to Baby's First Images and had an ultrasound of Baby Stella in 3D. Was a really neat experience... had a great time. She's got lots of hair, and it looks like she has long legs and big hands. I am hoping the Schlogl tall/long-leg genes will show up!

Took James back to the pumpkin patch. He was a "little" more enthusiastic this time, and met a "friend" there. He picked his pumpkin - I won't criticize it, but it was not the best one in the bunch! He was tuckered out, and hit the sack about 7:15 tonight.

Third Trimester

Today was the first day of my third trimester. Now it seems like we are down to business.

Sleeping Baby Dino

Little boy is a master of "patty-cake", thanks to many hours with Mia. He really gets into the "throw it in the pan" part.

And yes, I do believe that we have a sleeping baby. Who stays asleep all night.

Although God does have a sense of humor... I woke up at 4:30 last night (just 30 minutes before my alarm), and I said a little prayer, thanking the Lord for our sleeping boy... and it wasn't five seconds.... that sweet, sleeping little boy woke up and started crying. But, the good news is - now he actually puts himself back to sleep. That's the money!

And finally, I have tried to wait on showing off James' Halloween costume, but I just cannot help it. It's too funny.

Monday, Monday.

In the middle of one of those special Mondays at work, I looked up on my bookshelf and saw this picture...and I thought I would have a "no-one-should-ever-see-you-at-work-this-way moment", and my eyes almost filled up with tears... each day is so precious, so fast.

This little boy of ours is no longer a baby, but a little person. He's growing up so very fast.

 And I love him more and more, every single day.

Punkins

Mia and Papa came up to visit last weekend and we all went to the Pumpkin Patch. James was not sure about all the pumpkins. He wasn't sure about the pony ride. He wasn't sure about his new red wagon.




The only thing he was sure of: "What's with this pumpkin in my wagon?"

Ritz-Schmitz

Just arrived at the Ritz in Buckhead for the start of annual law conference. What a fabulous hotel, and fantastic goody bag, etc. etc.

But really.... I miss my boys. I'm such a sissy.

At least Stella is here with me.  In utero - but here, nonetheless!
